Yes. At EnKore Theatre Company, every student who auditions for one of our productions is cast in the show.
We believe theatre should be an opportunity to grow, learn, and belong — not an experience limited only to a select few. While roles may vary in size and responsibility depending on the production, every cast member is an important part of the storytelling process and production team.
Our goal is to create meaningful theatrical experiences where students gain confidence, develop skills, build friendships, and experience the joy of being part of a real production.
Real Theatre. Every Role. Every Student.

Parent Questions
-
For the safety of our students, parents or guardians are required to sign students in at drop-off and sign them out at pickup each day.
Students are dropped off at the double doors located at the front theatre lobby entrance, where staff will assist with check-in. Pickup takes place at the single door located at the end of the theatre front. Signage will be posted to help families easily identify the correct drop-off and pickup locations.
Students ages 13 and older may sign themselves out only if written parent or guardian permission is on file with EnKore Theatre Company.
-
Yes. If a student is cast in a production, participation in performances is required.
Theatre is a collaborative art form, and every role is important to the success of the show. Cast members rely on one another during rehearsals and performances, and the production is designed with every student’s participation in mind.
Being part of a production teaches responsibility, teamwork, commitment, and trust — all important skills both on and off the stage. We ask families to carefully review performance and rehearsal schedules before committing to a production to help ensure students can fully participate in the experience.
-
We strongly encourage full attendance for all classes, rehearsals, and productions so students can receive the greatest benefit from the program and continue growing alongside their castmates and classmates.
Students should arrive at least 5 minutes early to allow time for check-in before class or rehearsal begins.
For Summer Stage productions, attendance during Tech Week and all scheduled performances is required. Theatre is a collaborative art form, and every cast and crew member plays an important role in the success of the production. Students and production teams rely on one another, and the show cannot function as intended without everyone’s participation.
-
We understand that occasional conflicts can arise. However, because theatre is a team-based production process, attendance is extremely important.
All known or scheduled conflicts must be communicated prior to casting so rehearsal schedules and production planning can be considered appropriately.
Students may not miss Tech Week or scheduled performances, as these are critical parts of the production process and every cast and crew member is depending on one another for the show to function successfully.

Absolutely. EnKore Theatre Company believes theatre should be accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for all students.
We strive to work with families to help create a positive and supportive experience for children with physical, developmental, sensory, and other disabilities whenever possible. Students who use wheelchairs or mobility devices are fully welcome, and we aim to adapt staging, classroom spaces, and participation opportunities to help students be meaningfully involved in productions and classes.
Depending on a student’s needs, accommodations and support may include:
Volunteers or helpers during rehearsals and performances
Assistance with stage movement and transitions

Yes. EnKore Theatre Company aims to offer at least one interpreted performance during each show run whenever scheduling and interpreter availability allow.
We currently work with a volunteer interpreter who travels in from out of town to help make performances more accessible for members of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Because interpreter availability is limited, interpreted performances are typically scheduled for one specific performance during the production run. Information about interpreted performance dates will be announced alongside show schedules whenever available.
