Meet the Instructor
Kelly Lynn Jordan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of EnKore Theatre Company, where she serves as a choreographer, creative director, producer, mentor, and artistic leader for many of the company’s productions and programs. Kelly began dancing and performing at a young age and quickly developed a deep love for storytelling, creativity, and the emotional connection that the performing arts can create. Over the years, her artistic passions expanded into choreography, stage management, photography, costume and set design, visual storytelling, and creating environments where students can thrive creatively and personally.
Kelly especially loves choreography, visual storytelling, stage production, costume and set design, photography, and creating artistic experiences that leave a meaningful impact on both performers and audiences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from California State University, Sacramento, where she further developed her understanding of visual storytelling, artistic design, composition, and creative expression. Through years of work as both a creative professional and business owner, Kelly has developed extensive experience in the arts, including stage management, production design, lighting, costumes, photography, and artistic direction. She enjoys helping productions come to life visually and emotionally while fostering an encouraging atmosphere where students feel inspired, supported, and excited to express themselves.
One of the accomplishments Kelly is most proud of is helping create EnKore Theatre Company as a place where students of all backgrounds can feel welcomed, valued, and empowered through the arts. She loves watching students gain confidence, discover new abilities, and grow into more expressive and courageous versions of themselves. Kelly believes the performing arts can teach far more than performance skills alone, helping students develop teamwork, creativity, discipline, kindness, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Her hope is that every student who works with EnKore feels seen, encouraged, and inspired to use their voice both on and off the stage.
Outside of theatre, Kelly is also the owner of KLJ Studios, where she specializes in portrait photography and creating artistic experiences for families and individuals. She loves creative design, decorating, storytelling through images, spending time with family, and helping people feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated. Kelly truly believes creativity has the power to change lives and is passionate about building a community where students can grow not only as performers, but as people.
