Patrick Jordan is the Education Director and Co-Founder of EnKore Theatre Company and has been performing in theatre, music, and film since he was a young child. His passion for acting began when a teacher assigned his class a wax museum project, where Patrick performed Patrick Henry’s famous “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” speech. The response from the gathered crowd of parents gave him a deep sense of confidence and sparked a lifelong love for performance. Soon after, he performed in a French play about the first hot air balloon flight and later appeared in French educational television productions on ETV. Those early experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of the performing arts and arts education.

Patrick loves many areas of the performing arts, especially improvisation, filmmaking, acting, singing, and storytelling. He believes improv strengthens quick thinking and intuition, two essential skills for actors both on and off the stage. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Production Studies in Performing Arts from Clemson University in South Carolina, where he studied performance, production, directing, and the collaborative disciplines that bring theatre to life. Over the years, he has performed in numerous productions and received a Best Actor Elly Award for his portrayal of Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Some of his favorite roles include Buddy in Elf the Musical and Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard.

As an educator and mentor, Patrick believes acting is a skill that anyone can learn, much like singing or athletics. He is passionate about helping students build confidence, courage, creativity, and excellence through theatre training. Having experienced a difficult childhood himself, Patrick understands firsthand how transformative the arts can be and hopes to create an encouraging environment where students feel supported, capable, and inspired. He loves helping students discover abilities they didn’t know they had and believes the performing arts can teach valuable life skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Outside of theatre, Patrick has performed at the White House in Washington, D.C., has played guitar for more than 30 years, and teaches private guitar lessons through Six String Academy. He enjoys helping students grow in the areas where they are gifted and believes that doing something well provides a genuine sense of accomplishment. Patrick is also a foster parent who deeply cares about helping children have the best opportunity possible to thrive, contribute to their communities, and make a positive impact on the world.
