Disney’s Aladdin Jr. Summer Stage 2026
at EnKore Theatre Company
This summer, students ages 7–18 are invited to step into a whole new world through an immersive musical theatre experience unlike anything else in the Woodland area.
From June 15th through July 30th, students will rehearse, train, create, and perform Disney’s Aladdin Jr. inside a real theatre environment designed to help young performers grow in confidence, creativity, and belonging.
But Summer Stage is more than just a theatre camp.
It’s a place where students discover what they’re capable of.
Whether a student is stepping on stage for the very first time or already loves performing, EnKore creates an encouraging environment where kids are challenged creatively while supported emotionally. Students spend the summer learning acting, singing, choreography, character development, stage movement, teamwork, and performance skills while building meaningful friendships along the way.
Throughout the intensive, students experience every part of bringing a musical to life. Participants rehearse scenes and musical numbers, develop characters, explore storytelling, work with costumes and props, and gain exposure to technical theatre elements such as microphones, lighting, backstage operations, and production teamwork.
At the end of the program, students perform Disney’s Aladdin Jr. live for audiences during a multi-weekend performance run from July 31st through August 16th.
EnKore’s approach focuses on growth over perfection. Rather than creating a competitive environment centered around rejection, the program is intentionally designed to help students feel included, encouraged, and valued while participating in a high-quality theatrical production experience.
Families can expect:
Professional-style rehearsals and performances
A welcoming and supportive atmosphere
Real stage experience in a theatre setting
Confidence-building through performance
Team-building and collaboration
Creative exploration through theatre arts
Mentorship from passionate instructors and directors
A summer experience students will remember long after the final bow
Summer Stage runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with optional early drop-off and late pick-up available. Enrollment is intentionally limited to help ensure students receive mentorship, stage time, and personal attention throughout the production process.
Located in Woodland, California, EnKore Theatre Company is building a different kind of theatre experience—one where students are encouraged to grow, take creative risks, build friendships, and discover confidence both on and off the stage.
For many students, Summer Stage becomes more than just a summer activity.
It becomes the place where they finally feel like they belong.

Unleash Your Improv
Free Improv Classes at EnKore Theatre Company
EnKore Theatre Company’s Unleash Your Improv classes are designed to help kids and teens build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and friendships through the power of improvisation—all in a fun, welcoming, and completely free environment.
Located in Woodland, California, these high-energy classes introduce students to the exciting world of improv theatre through games, scene work, storytelling, character creation, and collaborative activities designed to get students laughing, thinking creatively, and stepping outside their comfort zones.
But these classes are about much more than comedy.
Improv teaches students how to:
think on their feet,
listen and respond,
work as a team,
communicate clearly,
adapt confidently,
and trust their own ideas.
Students participate in fast-paced theatre games and imaginative exercises that encourage spontaneity, creativity, and self-expression in a low-pressure environment where mistakes are celebrated as part of the process.
Unlike traditional performance settings that can sometimes feel intimidating or overly competitive, EnKore’s improv program is intentionally designed to be inclusive, supportive, and beginner-friendly. Students do not need prior theatre experience to participate.
Whether a student is:
shy,
energetic,
nervous,
outgoing,
creative,
silly,
or brand new to theatre…
there is a place for them in improv.
Many students who initially struggle with confidence or public speaking begin to open up through the playful and supportive nature of improvisation. Over time, students often become more comfortable expressing themselves, collaborating with others, and taking creative risks both on stage and in everyday life.
Classes are divided by age group to create an encouraging and age-appropriate environment where students can grow comfortably alongside peers:
Ages 5–7
Ages 8–11
Ages 12+
Throughout the classes, students explore:
improv games,
storytelling exercises,
scene-building,
character work,
teamwork activities,
audience interaction,
and spontaneous performance challenges.
The focus is not on memorization or perfection.
The focus is on creativity, confidence, connection, and having fun.
EnKore believes improv is one of the most valuable tools for helping young people develop communication and life skills in a healthy, engaging, and joy-filled environment. Students learn how to support one another, listen actively, adapt to unexpected situations, and build trust within an ensemble.
Many parents notice that improv helps students:
become more confident socially,
strengthen communication skills,
improve problem-solving,
develop emotional resilience,
and become more comfortable speaking in front of others.
At EnKore, Unleash Your Improv is more than just a class.
It’s a place where students are encouraged to be creative, take chances, make friends, and discover that their ideas matter.
Most importantly, it’s a place where kids are free to laugh, create, and simply be themselves.
